Celebrating VJ Day 70 years on in 2015

The 70th Anniversary of VJ Day and the end of WWII was marked by a parade of village organisations led by the Banbury Branch RBL Youth band. Capt Ted Johnson MC took the salute in company with other WWII service veterans. There was then a church service and tea followed by a sing song of all the old tunes sung in wartime.
