1923 Deddington Fire Brigade
Photo courtesy of Brackley Library & further researched by Joanna Cox whose grandfather John Harry Cox (1903-92) served in the Deddington Fire Service.
The picture seems to be of a joint Deddington/Brackley crew competing in the annual regional competition (see also the 1927 photo in this album) because only Brackley names are positively identified but Walter Allen Course is a known Deddington Fireman and the ? are therefore probably Deddington men too.
