Quinque House and Plough Inn, c1905, 10,163

The former village workhouse reverted to 5 separate cottages after 1834; then made into Quinque House 1969-73. The Plough Inn closed in 1927 and was bought in 1931 by Eli Walker after it had been empty for 4 years. It was then used as a butcher and poulterer's shop. The Plough comprised what is now Plough House and The Steps
