State System

Primary schools (5-11)

Deddington C of E Primary School is situated in Earl’s Lane near the centre of the village.

The nearest Roman Catholic school is St John’s Roman Catholic Primary School in Banbury.

 

Secondary schools (ages 11-18+)

Deddington Primary School is in the catchment area of the Warriner (Comprehensive) School in nearby Bloxham. It is well known for its 120-acre farm and farm shop run by the pupils. There is a school bus service to and from Deddington.

Deddington Primary School pupils and pupils from St John’s RC School can go to Blessed George Napier School in Banbury.

For study beyond GCSE examinations, students can join the sixth form of the Warriner, Wykham Academy Banbury, Banbury and Bicester College or Blessed George Napier School.

 

Special schools

Deddington is in the catchment area of the Frank Wise School in Banbury which specialises in children with severe learning difficulties.

Bardwell School in Bicester is a similar school.
