Deddington Charity Estates

Deddington Charity Estates is an ancient charity run by trustees who, in the 17th century, were called Feoffees (persons invested with a freehold estate in land for charitable purposes). It is an incorporated registered charity, no. 1188691.

Its stated objects are:

  • the provision of housing accommodation for beneficiaries
  • the provision of educational benefits not normally provided by the local education authority

The trustees are responsible for administering and managing the assets, including the repair and maintenance of buildings. They must ensure that the terms of the trust are met. Assets of the trust include:
