William Loder French

WLF was born in 1892 in Deddington. He was more familiarly known as 'Loder'. He went on his travels in 1914 and was in Australia at the out break of WW1. He joined the Anzacs and went to Gallipoli. He was one of four survivors out of a company of 1200; however while on leave he caught meningitis and died four months later. He is buried at St Peter & St. Paul, Deddington - the Form of Service is on an adjacent picture in this gallery
