John Maurice French Born 1893 in Deddington. He served in the Oxfordshire Yeomanry (see separate photo in gallery of him mounted). He married Freda Louise Adams at Bicester in 1921. Brother to William Loder French (see seperate photo this gallery) Their parents were Joseph William born Duns Tew 1866 and Emily Gibbs born 1866, Deddington.
As the surviving son John inherited the family farm and ran it till the 60s/70s then sold it for development and made a fortune.
